In the morning, we had persuasive writing lesson. We have learnt about ethos, pathos and logos. They are credibility, emotions, and evidence in Greek. We had managed ways to present our ideas better and be more persuasive when writing and speaking by using the three skills. Beside, we have also learnt that we need to understand our audience before persuading when in order to achieve a better effect. Then, we analysed a letter written to the editor and an advertisement found in a magazine. We identified the ethos, pathos, and logos there and commented on the passage and the advertisement's persuasiveness. After the lesson, we had more confidence in our writing and improved especially in persuasive writing.

In the afternoon, we attended Mathematical Logistics class. Although we were not particularly good at Mathematics, the teacher was still really patient with us and we had a fun time learning. We learnt some new Math concept, such as the Bijection Theory which can be applied to solving a wide range of Mathematical problems. We were all engaged in the lesson and had various group discussions in which e came up with various creative methods of solving the Math problem given to us by the teacher. Although some of our solution were downright outrageous, the teacher still patiently describe and explain in detail of what went wrong and what should really be done. He actually proved the Mathematical formula to us instead of just asking us to memorize it which really cleared up a lot of misunderstanding and confusion. It was a really fulfilling and thought-provoking day overall.
