For today's morning, our cohort had 'persuasive communication' in which we were taught the skills to communicate with others in a convincing way. We love the way the teacher started off the lesson by asking us to brainstorm ideas on how a persuasive speech is like, and it was a good way to learn by watching examples from TED Talks so as to have a general opinion of the differences between a good and a bad speech. This had been a meaningful lesson and the knowledge we gained on how to deliver a persuasive speech and communicate convincingly can often be applied in our daily lives. We also tried to use the skills we learnt to deliver a speech to a particular audience in each of the scenarios given, and we realised how important persuasive communication is as it helps expressing our ideas effectively.

Today afternoon, we had an engineering lesson.  We learned engineering
by doing different experiments, such as sorting different MnM
chocolates according to their colours under different coloured lights.
It is a new experience for all of us because we have never tried to
figure out these fun facts in life!  This was very unforgettable for
all of us and were very surprised by the results of experiments.  We
learned different enginering knowledge and knew the linkage between
our lives and their applications. This lesson is especially useful for
all of us who studies Physics.
