Group 6 Reflections

In the morning, we had a memorable lesson in the Stanford campus with Mr. Freedom. We learnt about norms. Norms means ideas or facts, and we realized there are many norms in our daily life, they are in different category like personal norms, global norms, ethical norms, etc. We also learn that things and be looked from different views, so there is simply no entirely right or wrong in any topics. For the environmental science class, we've learnt more about climate change and the use of different renewable energies. It was really fun to discuss with our teacher and groupmates about the current issues.
At evening, we've had the multi-cultural exhibition. We've all learnt a lot about other cultures and became friends with people all around the world! We also prepared a puppet show with Group5 and we're so glad that everyone enjoyed the show. Our hard work truly paid off!!

Unlike our regular mathematics classes, it was indeed inspiring!
After that, we went to the French house for the global project meeting, we had the chance to discuss more in depth with our groupmates on the island we're creating and the policies, flag design, etc. It was really inspiring and we all loved it.

We have had a blast at Great America, California today. Most of us had rode on a couple of roller coasters which was exciting. It was really sunny outside but we all enjoyed the sun a lot. It was really nice to sit beside the road with the butterflies and birds flying around us. We've all had a great time there.
It was our group mate Christie's birthday today. We planned birthday surprises and celebrations for her. During the free time, we bought her a birthday cake. Along with the stuffed toy we bought her before in the Stanford bookstore as her birthday gift, our birthday plans was a success and we successfully surprised Christie by giving her an unforgettable 15 years old birthday memory.

After the long week, we ended our Friday with two courses. First of all, we had a class on leadership. We enjoyed fun activities together and deepened our understanding on each other. What's more, we learned ways to suitably solve problems encountered such as comforting other.
In the afternoon, we had mathematics class on logical solving. It taught us to think out of the box. Unlike our regular mathematics classes, it was indeed inspiring!
